get paid for response???!!!!!

I was wondering whether we also get paid for the response made by someone in mylot. If we don't get paid for the response then why is the mad race for getting more response going on? According to my analysis and experience i don't think we get paid for response but is response important for the rating everyone talks in mylot.

YES ! you do get payd 1-2 cents for every response and 2-4 cents for every post you make ( it depends on the quality of the posts )

i found that we could not receive credit for response on our discussions. to find it i started a discussions and stopped posting on any discussions and i got 9 response till now but my earnings didnot change at all. so from here i could conclude that we do not receive credit for getting response on our discussions.

you will get paid on response but i think it depends on star rating also.

as far as I can see so far I have only been paid for being chosen as the best answer and for uploading photos.
