My boyfriend is having an affair with an older woman!

My ex-boyfriend and I were together for three years. During that 3 years of our relationship, I really had no idea that he was having an affair with an old woman. He was still studying and had no work, and I always wonder why he always have money. I knew that his parents don't give him a big amount of money. So I asked him where he's getting his money. To make the story short, I found out that the money was from the old woman. They've been having an affair. I can't understand why he did that to me. I am not the demanding type, not asking for material things. So, I broke up with him because I can't take this any longer.
What's your opinion on this?

you did exectly what you should do my friend so don't even think that there is something wrong in leaving him .any relationship need commitment ofr its long life and it is also a fect that the commitment from both the sides.even if you are hundred percent commited and your partner is not commited then that relationship is going to creat a pathetic situation in your life so you did very good job.
also you have started this discussion it means that you have not erased him from your memory ,so i suggest you please go ahead and try to keep yourself busy,which will help you to forget that cheater.best of luck ....

i think what you did was right, i dont think anyone could trust someone if they have been cheated on. i know 3 years is a long time and it hurts but as they say there are plenty more fish in the sea and i beleive that someone somewhere is made for everyone so hold tight. It will happen for you
