I Need Yours All Help

A rat came at our house but we did n't take care of it. She has many babies now and they all go here and there and my Mom was saying that they can affect cooking range and a rat sit there at noon. Can u suggest me that how can these rats can go away from my home???? Cats r n't soltion bcuz i have parrots at home. What should we do???

Actually I do agree with the first respondent in that a cat could be the solution, however it would also mean putting your parrot in some sort of cage, so that it will be safe from the cat. The other alternative is to get some bait and put it out so the rats will eat it and then go away to die. Your mother is right in that the rats can do a lot of damage to things just by chewing through wires etc but at the same time they are carriers of many diseases. This of course means that anything they go near, pots and pans, is a risk and must be thoroughly washed before using. When you get rid of the rats, see if you can find out where they came in. Once you do that, they put some steel wool into the whole, because they cannot chew through it. Get rid of the rats sweetie, and if that means using baits then that is the way it has to be. Rats are not clean animals and carry diseases which can make people extremely sick.

It was good to read that you are finally rid of those awful rats sweetie, and no your parrot is safe once again plus your mother will be happy the rats are gone. :)

Sorry, if I had to choose between getting a cat to kill the rats or my birds, I get a cat. What happens if the rats bite someone? Do you know they carry disease?

U too pointed out a good point but rats of our home fear from us. They do n't come near to us. Cats r n't a solution for me bcuz her first target'll be my 5+ years old parrots.
