Congratulations on your pregnancy!! With all three of my pregnancies, I noticed that I tended to get nauseated when I was hungry or tired. To avoid that, I tried to take naps during the day and go to bed at a decent hour. I also had snacks that I could keep in my purse so that if I got hungry, I had something right there to snack on.

You're welcome. I hope my tips help you out some. If you can cut down the nausea even a little, I know you'll feel a lot better. Hopefully it will stop once you hit the second trimester.

Eat lots of very small meals throughout the day. Even though the last thing you feel like doing is eating, it only makes it worse to not eat. Try bland foods like saltines and broths. Ginger is supposed to help too...so try ginger snaps.

Thanks those are all great ideas.Saltines make it worse but the broth should work well. Thanks again for the tips.

When I was pregnant with my son, pretzels seemed to help nausea. I hate pretzels normally but I wouldn't get out of bed without eating a few while I was pregnant. Another thing I did was drink lots of water. I was weird and ginger made me sick so I couldn't drink ginger ale and stuff like everyone told me to. Another thing was lots of naps. I only slept about 5 or 6 hours at night and then took two naps during the day. I suppose that probably isn't very practical with other children at home, though.
