I just went through the site and selected a few topics to check the standard of material they provide .I have to say I was unaware of the existence of such a site.It has resources on almost every subject one could think of and a committed learner could surely benefit from the lessons they offer. If they could have managed video tutorials then I am convinced the site would become an indespensable one.Keep them coming!

A friend of mine fro the Department of Education in Wash DC recommended the site to me when I mentioned I needed to update my husband's English and Math skills so he wouldnt have to pay for those college 99 courses before he could take the standard college ones. With the help of this website, now he can CLEP them!

Department of education, that explains it.I was wondering why I didn't hear about this site before .Now I know :)Great to know this site is being put to good use by your husband.I was brushing my biochem lessons and it's a boon to have approved resources at one site rather than hopping and jumping over the entire net through a list of recommended resources to make up my mind.

Do you get a certificate for passing? Has anyone passed? Can you use it towards credits to an actual degree program? I just can't believe it all. I'll have to look at it later and get back to you, when I'm fully informed. Is it reccommend by the Education Dept., or is it just a resource they use? Just curious. Thanks for sharing it with us!!!

You have to ask those questions yourself to them. My husband is working on a math class from there so he can CLEP it for college. Good luck!

Interesting website and definitely useful! I wonder if we offer similar online classes and tutorials here in Canada. That is something I would definitely want to look into. Cheers!

I have checked it out, and I love it. It's so descriptive and they use photos to show you what they mean. It's great! Although, there is a drawback. I was trying to get to a lessen and the page wouldn't load. I tried refreshing the page, and still nothing. I tried it a couple of days, and then contacted them. This was what they said, roughly, in their response. They checked everything out and found that the primary content provider has withdrawn permission to use the material in the course for that one lessen and that the rest of the lessens are fine. Then apologized. So my suggestion is to take the courses in the order of importance to you, same with the lessens within the course. I don't know if it will happen again, but I just wanted to warn you. Other than that, it's a GREAT website!!!
