ani difranco's new baby girl!

so, i know i'm about a month and a half late on this one, but i'm still super exicted for ani difranco and her new little girl petah. i've done several searches and can't seem to find a picture of this beautiful new family anywhere. which is understandable because she's not a "hollywood a-lister" and thus doesn't garner much interest with the bigger celebrity websites.
i'm wondering if anyone out there has heard anything about her, how her babe is doing, or knows of any photos of the family?

OMG WHAT?? Ani D had a baby?!?!?! HOLY HELL LOL I didnt even know she was preggers...I wonder if she's back here in Western New York...I'll have to see whta i can find in the local papers adn if I do find anything I'll let you know.

I suspect that the lack of pictures may in fact be intentional an Ani's part. I'm only speculating, but she seems like the type that would protect her child from popular culture at all costs. It is well known that people often suffer from growing up in the public eye, and Ani is smart enough to know that and be conscious enough of it to proactively work against it. At the very least, some of her lyrics seem to support that idea. Anyway, no, I haven't seen any pics or found any news on the topic.

I had no idea Ani had a baby! That's wonderful. I'll have to look her up - I haven't kept up with her as much as I used to. My own fault...
