population control,as we are getting better at curing the ill's that would normally and naturally kill people,we have had wars to cull the populations.If you notice,most of the wars are fought in the over populated countries,not always by the countries with the most people,but where they live.

interesting! I have heard the reason there are more males born than females is because of men fighting wars also, now, in these days women go to though!

It is not. War have only bad sides, but sometimes you can't prevented from war and you half to fight for your life/ freedom etc...

I hope you have never had to fight for your life, in the USA we have really no idea what other cultures face with war all around!
