What pets do you have?

Just wondering what everyone has for pets? Or if you don't have any, is there one you want someday? I have a 12yo Doberman, named Circe. She's like a member of the family & we all just love her. I have two parrots, an African Grey who says the funniest of things and a half-moon Conure who's quite the clown. The parrots are mine, they don't really like my children or my partner. And then there is Damien my 8' Columbian boa. My 18 year old also has a pink toed tarantula and my 4 yo has a betta fish. I owned a pet store years ago, and we use to have quite a bit more pets than we have now. With kids, school, homeschooling, working etc I find this is the right number of pets for us at this time. I've always wanted a horse though. Hopefully in a couple years when the little ones are older I will have the time & the budget for one. So what'd ya have for pets? How long have you had them? etc...tell me all about your fur-fin-feathered-scaled pets :)

I have a 9 year old Doberman, A 10 week old Australian Kelpie. ( I had a 12 year old Dobe whom I lost a year ago, but only seems like yesterday - He will always be in my heart), I've got a Russian Blue Cat and her half sister a Russian White, A 15 year old Cockateil and a budgie - I found in the backyard, And a Quarter Horse.

Oh I'm so jealous of your Quarter horse! How long have you had her/him?

I have two dogs, two cats and two frogs. Or they might be toads, we aren't sure. We're hoping the produce plenty of baby frogs or toads, whichever they are.

Frogs & toads can be very tricky to breed in captivity. Without knowing which you have & which breed, it will be even harder. Many frogs need you to simulate the raining season from where they live or you may need to adjust how much light & darkness they have to trigger a breeding response. If you get a good book on amphibians (try your library) you should be able to figure out what you have & then find out what it needs to breed.
