is himesh reshammiya india's best singer & music composer?

Are you crazy? Sorry to say that but really do you really think so? If you think so then I dont know how much you know about music at all. He is good in what he do,he is different and he is lucky that he blasted at a time when some thing different needed to be heard but that doesn't mean that he reached to the level where one can bracketed him as one of the best. He had his time and laugh thats good but he is repetitive and he is just some one whom you wont be hearing in after 5 years(I think I am wrong may be in 2 years).

Himesh is definitely not India's best singer. Of course, currently he and his Sufi Style are very hot. But, he is too one dimensional a singer to even rate amongst the best. Of course his style of singing leads him to be a nasal singer. Amongst the current lot my favorites are Udit Narayanan, Sonu Nigam and Abhijeet. But all time greats include the likes of Kishore Kumar, Mohd. Rafi and Mukesh. As far as music composers are concerned, of course he is still not the best. Others with more proven track record and variety are Anu Malik, Rajesh Roshan etc. All time greats include the likes of R.D. Burman and S.D. Burman. Cheers! Ram
