Why do most women when valentine's day usually ask or wish that there's this someone special who will give them either a chocolate or bunch of flowers....????? Whats with the flowers and chocolates that girls really love when this valentines season is coming????nor even in any special occasion???

Well usually, flowers or chocolate is given to them by their special someone so it makes those flowers or chocolate special. Of course, women would welcome flowers and chocolate anytime but since Valentines Day is a specific day dedicated to "love" then they expect it more. I think another flip side of it is that because the flower/chocolate thing is so overdone by everyone that if they don't receive one they possibly will feel left out. I mean Valentine's Day is the only day probably that you can visibly/obviously show that there is someone special out there. So if all the other women got flowers and chocolate and say one of them is left out I think that one will feel extremely bad and probably quite lonely.

I think we want to be given attention on Valentines day. Chocolate and Flowers have most likely become popular gifts because they're pretty easy for guys to remember and they're yummy and pretty!

Flowers represent love and chocolates are comfort food during their menstrual cycle. Chocolate is also an aphrodisiac. I think they are just a symbol that the person took time out of their day to buy something for their significant other.

Flowers symbolizes beauty and love while chocolate symbolizes sweet or being sweet.. Every woman wants to look beautiful and be loved by a sweet partner.
