What are the must-see and must-do in Hong Kong? Places where I can shop, eat and visit?

there is Disney Land where you could see Mickey Mouse. haha. and Victoria Peak where the view is fantastic! you could almost see the whole of Hong Kong from up there. you could go shopping at Tsim Sha Tsui. you can do a lot of bargain shopping in Hong Kong but i can't seem to remember the names of those places right now. you could go bar hopping at Lan Kwai Fong. there are lots of foreigners there. it's near Central. you could eat at the small restaurants around. they are almost always very yummy! i recommend eating roast duck and roast pork, and noodles too. how long would you stay there? you could also visit Macau if you like. it's just a ferry ride away. there are lots of casinos there and it's soon going to be the Las Vegas of Asia.

since you'll be there for only 3 days. what you could do is leave during the night to go to Macau and come back around 1-2 am. there are still boats from Macau back to Hong Kong around that time. this way, you'd be going to 2 countries in 3 days! cool!

I would not go to Disney Land. I lived there for five years in the '90s and there is no reason to go to Hong Kong for Disney Land. Take the ferry over to Kowloon - a great experience. Rent a Junk boat out on the Harbor - we did it monthly on a Sunday and it was very nice. Roll up to the top of the Peak and just look over the Harbor and Hong Kong's beautiful skyline in general. Try any of the genuine Chinese restaurants. You have not had Chinese food for dinner until you've really had it in a fancy Hong Kong restaurant.

I suggest the rather new Hong Kong Disneyland, its really fun and refreshing although the park is a bit smaller than others around the world. Ocean Park is a must go. Lots of fun rides and attractions and really educational too Shopping I would suggest places like the Street Markets near Jordan, and of course ultra-hip Mong Kok. Central District and Admiralty areas have some cool shopping complexes too. As for food, Id say dont head for the restaurants. The Roadside stalls and shops sell the most authentic HK food.

stay in kowloon area..it would be easy for you to go around using your map..go the the harbor, its very beautiful at night, you see the symphony of lights at around 8pm, fantastic! then just take a mrt to go to mongkok for shopping..if you have kids you can visit disneyland and ocena park, ride a cable car.....also go to victoria peak at night for fantastic view of hong kong...take a sampan ride for $50 HK...enjoy and have fun there
