long hair or short hair for men?

if hair is the crowning glory for women, shouldn't it be the same for men, too? admittedly, there are guys who grow their hair long and look good in it. some would go baldie and still look great. personally, i would prefer short hair for men. but that is my preference. it's your hair, you decide. whatever makes you feel good about yourself, regardless of what other people would say.

Generally, I like short hair on men, but I concede that some men look good with long hair too. It's a combination of many factors like the personality and lifestyle of the man. Same thing with women, I guess.

I like both, but i think it is important to have tidy hair. Short is cute and smart and easy to style, but long hair must be maintained well and looked after then you will be noticed by females. I hate to say it but i always go for the short haired guy before the pretty boy...

I guess it's the stereotyping, but I really prefer men with short hair. Granted, some men can it off with long hair, but I think it still doesn't work for the majority. Long hair tends to make men look messy and unkempt, while short hair gives them a much cleaner look. If I didn't know them personally, I'd tend to think that men who have long hair were less dependable compared to men with short hair. Well, that's just my opinion.

I need more time to work and I cut my hair short in the morning to maintain my short hair. Its hard to cut your hair, sometimes, I do cut my own hair for the most part. Sometimes, I will have a friend help with the very back, and help me straighten it out if I need it. I like having a professional do it, but it is no less than 15 dollars anymore, and I just don't have that kind of money for the most part.

well, it all depends on the guy first of all.. but most guys i've seen with longer hair it looks good on. and it also depends on the texture of the hair.. i like guys who have straight or slightly wavy hair to have long hair better than those with curly hair - i don't like curly hair on guys period actually. and i also don't like a guy's hair so long that it's below the shoulders, although some girls do.

I have to confess that I am a sucker for guys with long hair. My partner's hair is longer than mine and it looks gorgeous.

Men usually look better in short hair. But a few can pull-off a long hair look. Just take a look at male supermodel Marcus Schenkenberg and Hollywood actor Brad Pitt. They are some of the few lucky individuals who look good both in short or long hair whether kept or unkept. I guess it all depends on your facial features and your attitude. So if yours was good as these men then try growing your hair long. But honestly few men are bless with a model look. That's why a lot of men who wore long hairs simply looked like they just don't have the money to get a haircut or that they're remnants of the hippy era or even worst is that they're homeless people like those in the streets begging for food or money. Ok, I'm getting a bit harsh in my opinions but this is just how I've observe this matter. Hope I don't offend anyone in the myLot community who wears a long hair.

Before I got married, I liked guys with long hair, but would never consider having a relationship with the "bad boy" type. So I stuck with the good providing, clean cut, short haired man. Guys with long hair, are nice to look at. But some girls may find it hard to take that type of guy serious. It's just looks and it shouldn't matter, but sometimes those looks just plant sterio types, and it can't be helped.

It depends upon the person who will look at you. Sometimes, what is cool for you are not cool for others. Do your whatever style you are comfortable with without doing harm to other people.

I used to have long hair when i was younger, now it's short and to tell you the truth i didn't notice much difference on how girls like it but i was criticized more by older people for having long hair..

I like long hair better than short hair, on men and women both. If you've got nice hair, why not have it long if you like it that way, sure, its a little harder to take care of.It helps to keep you cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
