I woke up from a nap today and walked it my office and my husband, whom I have not seen all day greeted with me. " Did you guys eat all the potato chips? " What happened to Hi!, how are you? how was your day? He was hungry for a snack and was looking for a bag of potato chips. My parents were visiting this week and my Mom bought along 3 bags of chips Plain, Barbecue and Dill Pickle. We all had the bag of plain with some nice dip. I must confess I ate most of the barbecue, I found the bag opened and assumed Ron and my daughter already had some. This afternoon my daughter finished off the barbecue. So I went to the cupboard and took out the bag of Dill Pickle. My husband goes, " yuck " and finds something else to snack on . MY daughter ignored them as well. I decided to be brave and try them. Well, it seems the kids in Junior church on Sunday are going to get to enjoy these Dill Pickle chips. Kids will eat anything once, right? Yuck, they do not temp my palate at all . Too much dill and too much vinegar . So what about you, have you tried them, do you love them or hate them?

They are very vinegary. I enjoyed them when they first came out. I would eat them until my mouth was so sore because of the acidity in the seasoning. But now it's hard to find bags of dill pickle flavoured lays. And I liked them!

Personally, I can take them or leave them. But, my kids love them and specifically ask for this flavor when I'm doing grocery shopping. You should be safe and have a hit with the kids at Junior Church if you bring these for a snack!

I've eaten them before I actually really like them. I haven't had any in about a year or so, so now after reading this post, I'm craving them! I'll have to take a trip and buy myself some things that I really like because there are a lot of things I haven't eaten in a long while.

I seldom eat potato chips but sometimes we do stock a bit of them. When I have a craving or just feeling unhealthy (lol), I will grab some and munch. Chips are fine (though not all brands are fine - but lays be ok) but not good to eat too much anyway. :P

Dill pickle flavoured potato chips? I have never heard of such a thing! I will have to keep my eyes open for them and try them just for curiosity's sake. I guess they are running out of ideas for good tasting flavours over at the Lay's factory!

Um, yes, I have tried them. I love the dill flavor. My husband didn't care for them. He prefers barbeque chips. My all time favorite is kettle fried chips. They are nummers.

LOL Men just have to have their food, ya know. LOL Dill pickle potato chips is a new one for me. YUCK is all I can say. That does not even sound good. I would never try them. I think i will just stick to the traditional kinds of chips.

My mom and dad and my husband love them but I do not like them at all. I like pickles but not in chips. So gross. For awhile my mom got upset because she couldn't find them at any store and they are her favorite now but she went up to the gas station up the road from where my husband and I live and she finally found them. She was happy, lol! I think you just have to aquire a taste for them but I just can't. :)

Actually I love those dill pickle potato chips. At first I was pretty suspect. But some friends brought them to a BBQ. At first we were all daring eachother to try them. No one wanted to see to take the plunge. But finally a brave soul tried them and declared them "not that bad", so then we all tried them. I find they got better with the more you ate (a dangerous thing with potato chips), the first few were kinda strong, like you said, a lot of dill and vinegar.....but after a few I found I couldn't stop eating them. In this case, I guess Lay's motto about "not being able to eat just one" holds true.

We do like these, and we like the salt and vinegar and the pepper and vinegar chips as well. But, we like them with Tuna Fish sandwiches :) they just seem made for eachother. My mouth is watering thinking of their puckery tartness already.
