Spider-man 3! I'm excited!!!

Have you heard that spider-man is coming this May? Well i'm planning to watch it! Spiderman-man is turning his suit into jet-black and that's make me confused of what will happen and why does he turns into jet-black. Any idea about it? What do you like most? His blue-red suit or his new suit(jet-black)

im a big fan of spiderman... in the comics the black suit was an alien symbiote which was brought back from an outer space mission. it found its way to peter parker and merged w/ him. the costume (which is also a living thing) gave peter parker more strength speed etc... but little did he know that the symbiote is tapping into his darkside(everyone has one hahaha) and wants to permanently bond w/ parker. that's the main storyline about his black symbiote costume.
about which one i'd like better i would still prefer the traditional blue-red costume. nothing beats the original. hahaha

Aw, you beat me to explainin' Kendough.
But yes, though it might be spoiling the whole movie for ye, hun..the entire plot of the next movie is about the symbiotes -- aliens from outer space. They're not exactly evil per se, but they do tend to find people with very, very dark sides..and it just..shows lol.
The symbiote changes to suit him, if he needs to he can be in jeans and a t-shirt in an instant -- or in his hero costume with it (it mimics things he tells it mentally). And as you'll see with Venom -- the other guy who gets a symbiote -- communication between the host and the alien itself is possible. It's intelligent.
Venom however, unlike Spider-Man goes all evil and starts destroying things..and well you'll see ^_^
Later in the comic book storyline the government somehow gets ahold of the symbiotes and starts erm..breeding them? For their government agents, testing their new 'super soldiers' out on spider-man (though he doesn't know this originally).
But all in all Spider-Man 3 should be very fun. Though it reminds me how I'm not sure how long they'll go on creating the spider-man movies, and how far they might go into the storyline. Personally I'd like to see them go to the end of Spider-man's career to the point where his own daughter takes up super-heroing under the guise of 'Spider-girl' hee ^_^

im excited too, my kids love spiderman. if you are playing play station, you will see there that outfit. well i like the old one cause we are used to that but life is full of upgrades LOL, so it is also cool to see that spiderman went shopping for new outfit.hahaha

I have seen quite a few previews of the film at the cinema when I have gone to see other films. It does look very good and I will go and see it with friends. I did prefer the first one, but hopefully this one will be just as good! Not long now to see it!

I don't want to spoil the story of the movie but I am going to post it here. If you want to know why he wears that jet-black costume then you can read the whole story below. If you want to enjoy the movie from watching it then please don't continue to read the next paragraph.
That black suit Spiderman wears is not a new one but he was inflicted by its sentient power. That is the next Spiderman villain called Venom. It will affect Spiderman first but later on it will be passed to another guy. He will become Venom.
I just can't wait to see the movie too. Hope to see it in a big screen this May.

Yep i cant wait for Spider Man 3 to come out. I think most the people in Cleveland ohio cant wait either as they shot alot of the movie in downtown cleveland, i cant wait to see how our city looks on the big screen. They were here last summer it seems like for a month or two.

I can't wait it either.. And with his new suit, it looks dazzling. I like his blue-red suit of course, but his new black suit looks very good in this millenium era. I read the preview, he turns into jet-black cause he got some confusion about whether he did the right thing for being spiderman or not. That's why he become like those evil-spiderman and so his suit turns into black.

I actually liked Spiderman I, but was not very much impressed by Spiderman II. I hope Spiderman III is better. Of course, I will watch the movie. As far as moving to jet-black costume is concerned, I just think it is a gimmick to generate interest in the movie. A novelty to a new story. That's it.

Out of all the sequels to movies -- Spiderman just keeps getting better and better! The good thing with this one will reveal Spiderman and Venom which were not included from the previous Spiderman movies. I'm looking forward of seeing this one for sure.

hey! the symbiote infects spidey's suit and it enhances his powers. at the same time, he is somewhat emotionally vulnerable. i think he chose to escape from the symbiote, then transferring to eddie brock's body, eventually became venom.

His suit gets black in this movie coz venom infects him and his suit but later he venom seperates and infects another guy .May be (brock or some one)
