New Clouded Leopard Species

How Many of you have seen the new species of Clouded Leopard on TV recently. I saw it on BBC and it was a very nice looking cat from Borneo. It looked a bit like a snake/giraffe with its pattern. They reckon there could be as many as 7000. Why are we only hearing about them now.

hubby was telling me about that specail. you know the game zoo tycoon has them on there so i knew abotu them before. they are really had to please too. lol. there are new animals all the time and usally they have been around forever but are very shy and people just dont see them. or people know about them cause they live close to them but to them they are just animals and tehy dont think much about it then someone comes in and are like wow. it happens in teh amazaon all teh time and places liek that. i love learning abotu animals. we watch pbs all the time lol

I also saw that documentary-it was astounding, but I cant imagine a total of 7000 leopards in the wild at this time of widespread poaching-in my country Loepards are nedangered species.
