Spring Cleaning

I HATE spring cleaning, its a task I do not look forward to at all...I turn over every single thing in my house this time every year...From washing all the drapes to washing walls and ceilings..and sometimes even paint..I sort out clothing, and go through toy boxes, Whats good is donated, whats not goes in the trash, and it amazes me every year the stuff we can collect in just 12 months.

I do not do any spring cleaning. I will vacuum the house about once a week, and I will clean as I go along. I wash the kitchen floor once a week and clean off the counters. However we do not have that much room. My husband, however, is a great believer in throwing everything away which is why I do not have a driver's license. He threw that away and it would cost me at least $200 which I have not got for a new one.

It's a tradition for Chinese to do spring cleaning every year, before Chinese New Year. Usually we need to clean the house from the top to and bottom, trying to clean as much as we can, or sometimes new painting too. It's fun sometimes, but tiring. :p But I'm not staying at home now, and usually when I go back for Chinese New Year, my family has already cleaned the house. haha~~
