is it practical to give your daughter a celebration for her upcoming 18th bday?

is that practical?
but nowadays most uf our daughters whose turning 18 would rather have an expensive and latest cellphone trend,or want to have a CAR(my gosh!)or a condo unit(oh no,no)!! than to celebrate their 18th bday!
in our modern days,,teens are now becoming very demanding..
do you agree guys?
