I have tried so many ways to work from home lately. I have 2 daughters at home both under 4 and i am trying my hardest to work from home, as it costs more to put them both in daycare then i would make working full time in the small town i live in. If anyone has suggestions or ideas send them my way. I also can give some insight on the things i have tried that are a waste and things that do work for making some money.

Yes, it is possible to make a living from home, but it takes a lot of willpower and structure. I am a writer, but to supplement my writing I do myLot and write content articles for Associated Content. If you would like to check out AC the link is below. http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=15512 They pay $5-$20 per short article and you can choose the topic. There are several other sites I know of as well, but the pay isn't as good. I have been scammed to by online ventures, so I know how you feel about being taken. You won't make a lot here at myLot, but you can make a little. I usually average about $30 a month. Welcome and if I can be of any help, please let me know. Happy posting.

Thanks so much for your response creativedreamweaver!! I joined associatedcontet and wrote one movie review. We'll see how it pans out. I was a little dissapointed on how picky they were about how it had to be grammatically correct and all that, but if you make good money per story then it's cool. Thanks again!!

It takes a lot of research to find your fit. Mine is in blogging and I do a little better with it each month. I've started a WAHM blog at: http://mommyspace.blogspot.com/ where I share my ideas with women. The information is limited to people in the USA. I make on average $400 a month, but some make thousands... I haven't completely figured out their secret! lol Blogging is a fun way to make money and express yourself at the same time. I also like it because you can blog anytime of the day, and as little or as much as you choose. Somedays I blog for just a few minutes, other days a couple hours. I love it!!!

I actually do work at home. I teach online. In my spare time, I do mylot and digital journal. Doing mylot and digital journal is an extra income for me... no matter how small it may seem. I get lots of ideas here which I can use in my lessons.

I commend you for wanting to be with your daughters. They need you at this stage in their lives. It is really hard to make enough income online to pay the bills--unless you have a viable online business or skills you can use to create online income. What about opening a daycare in your home so that you could earn enough to live on, help other mothers out who have the same concerns, and be able to spend that time with your little ones? It usually doesn't take that long to get the necessary certification.

Hi I have also tried working from home, but at the moment I need a regular income, as from what I can tell it takes a while to build up a regular income from home...but I would like to try working from home again in the near future.

Yeah i hear you. I would love to work outside the home to get a break from being home all the time, but again it's more costly to put my kiddies in daycare and all. Good luck to you whatever you may do!!

To my understanding I think it's really hard to earn a decent income without putting a lot of time and even if you do it's not sure you'll make a lot of money anyway? So what are your advice for moneymaking? Always helpful to learn from other peoples experiences...

Well i have recently tried the whole Ebay thing and i'm selling misc things on there that i don't need anymore and have been making a few bucks here and there, but it does take some time to list the item and watch and wait and then pack and ship it all out. It's great if you have the patience and time. Another thing i do to make about $40-$50 a month is do surveys online. I have joined every survey site out there and get surveys to do all the time. The main reason i get so much happens to be because i am a mom and have small children that seems to be what they are always looking for.

Hey andrat I have tried alot of things too, so I know how you feel. I joined a group called www.sohojobs.org about 9 months ago and it has been a blessing for me. I submitted some applications to several companies and was hired by 2!! So, I now earn around $800-$1000 from home working very part time, as I have a Fitness Center that I own. Anyway, that is what has worked for me. You apply to companies that hire people to work from home, so it is a steady pay check. Hope this helps :o) Let me know if you need anything!
