Kobe Bryant The Ultimate Scorer!?

Philippines
March 23, 2007 7:07am CST
Kobe scored 60 points last night against Memphis. His 3rd consecutive 50+ points after a 65 and 50 on his previous 2 games. He became the 4th player in NBA history to achieve the feat and the first player since Michael Jordan in 1987. He dropped 81 points on Jan 22, 2006 and made an NBA history to be the second highest single-game point total behind only Wilt Chamberlain's 100 points over 40 years ago. To some he is considered a ball hog but for me he is a scoring machine, an instant offense and the ultimate scorer! What do you think?

Kobe can dominate if he wants to.... He can score 81 again if he needs to... and with the losing streak, he decided that he needs to take over the game.... AGAIN! Kid's a winner... He wanted to enter the playoffs....

the best scorer the NBA has produced so far. he can score at will and beat teams single handedly. right now, the NBA have other great stars who could score like gilbert arenas, allen iverson, carmelo anthony and lebron james but no one comes close to kobe. he's even better than michael jordan and wilt chamberlain when it comes to scoring

sorry KB24 fans, but for me, he's the ultimate "crocodile" (Filipino slang for a ballhog). though he's now improving in his passing skills, he's still making the plays for himself. good thing they already won 4 straight, but it's not enough to free themselves from the bottom 4.

Here's to prove that the Lakers are still in the bottom 4 of the virtual Western Conference playoff order (as of March 27): 1. Dallas (58-11) 2. Phoenix (53-17) 3. Utah (46-24) 4. San Antonio (50-20) 5. Houston (45-26) 6. LOS ANGELES LAKERS (38-32) 7. Denver (35-34) 8. Los Angeles Clippers (34-36) With the standings above, the Lakers have virtually no hopes of snatching a home-court edge with a win of the Spurs vs. Warriors earlier this afternoon (Manila Time). A Grizzlies win vs. Lakers tomorrow (or a Spurs win on Thursday Manila Time vs. NOK) would only make the fifth seed the highest the Lakers could get. Note: Memphis had won seven of the last 11 games vs. Lakers.

In order for the Lakers to win KOBE needs to score a LOT!!! He is the only guy that is unstoppable in the LAKERS squad plus the TRIANGLE offense is designed for great scorers like KB24...
