It's half time break now and he's only at 21 points. Hope he will make 29 points on the remaining 2 quarters. Will he make another 50+ point tonight against the Warriors? Kobe fans... just cross your fingers. he can do it ;)

NO more 50 for Kobe, it ends at 43. Consolation is they won the game and it's a come from behind victory. 43 points is still high huh

I don't care if Kobe scores 100 points toinght as long as the Warriors beat the Lakers. I am a Warriors fan and looking for the Warriors to keep pace and hopefully slide into the playoffs in the last spot. I would honestly be more worried about the secondary players on the Lakers, guys like Lamar Odom, Luke Walton, and, maybe to a lesser extent, Kwame Brown. Keeping Brown off the offensive glass and limiting Odom's ability to move tha ball would also probably limit the number of touched Bryant gets in the game anyways. I am all for NBA history, and have almost nothing against Kobe (except he's a Laker and I'm a Warriors fan), but 50 points probably means a close game. Steven Jackson, and probably Mickael Pietrus will probably be guarding him... the key for those guys is making Kobe work on the defensive end.

Unfortunately, your Warriors lost to the Lakers 113-115. Kobe also did not make 50 points tonight. But 43 points is still cool :)

kobe finished with only 43 against the warriors to snap his hot 50 point streak. but its still a good way to end his streak, with a lakers win. scoring 43 is a lot better than a 50 or 60 point team losing effort. the good part about it is that the lakers are still having the momentum that they could capitalize for their upcoming games especially that playoffs is fast approaching. kobe should not think about breaking records after records now, what he should think is how to make the lakers a deadlier and a threat to other teams. detroit just blown out milwaukee and san antonio defeated seattle by 42 points. those are the teams that the lakers might deal with in the playoffs, and one-man game just can't do it

I was hoping that Kobe, could have broke Wilt's record of 7 games straight, hopefully in the years to come he will break the record of most 50+ points in a row.
