I am in need of some different ways to cook chicken breasts. I have grilled them, I have baked them, I have even boiled them. I am bored with them. I need some new ways to cook them or some new recipes for how to use them. I am personally sick of eating chicken tacos, chicken salad, chicken spaghetti, chicken with veggies, and chicken with rice. Last night we had baked chicken breasts with potatos and broccoli. There have to be other ways to prepare chicken. I just cannot think of any. Any suggestions would be so helpful. I just shudder to think that I have to cook more chicken breasts tonight.

This might sound gross, but it isn't. All you need is 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 teaspoons garlic, and 1 teaspoons oil. Pre heat oven to 350, put everything in a pan and cook over low heat. Don't cook to long, if you browned the garlic you did it to long. Put chicken In baking pan and spoon mixture over the top. Bake for 30-40 mins.

I know a wild dish which I really enjoy during my jungle trips. Clean the whole chicken, marinate it with the paste of termeric, chilli powder, salt and ginger garlic. Burn the whole chicken in the fire and enjoy. Looks wild but tastes great.

My husband really likes when I make either salsa chicken or mustard chicken. Just put either the salsa or the mustard on it, wrap it in tin foil and bake. It's wonderful!

Try chopping them into bite size chunks and stir frying them with some stir-fry veggies and a spicy szechuan stir fry sauce. Some stir fry veggies come with the sauce in the bag. Add some whole grain or wild rice. Your taste buds will thank you. LOL Bon Apetit.

Well my favourite chicken dish is Afghani Chicken. You stuff the chicken legs with fine choped chicken. Put a paste of some Indian spices on it and then roast it. Just try it out man.

When I first saw the title of your discussion I was just skimming the page and I thought it said "New Ways to Cook Children" !!! At least it got my attention. The favorite chicken dish at my house is SO simple to make. I put the skinned chicken in the bottom of my crock pot. Then I pour the contents of dry boxed stuffing mix onto them. Usually the chicken is wet from me cleaning it, so I don't have to add any moisture to the mix. The steam from cooking does the trick. If I add liquid then the dressing gets really wet and soggy and isn't very inviting. If your stuffing mix has the spices in a separate packet, just sprinkle it over the top of the stuffing before putting the lid on to cook it. I let it cook on high for an hour or less then turn it down to low for the rest of the day. It cooks while I'm out doing something else. And it makes the house smell like I've been cooking all day!

I'm glad to help out. I have an awesome chicken recipe I tried just the other day on the family, and everyone loved it. The best thing of all is that it's low fat. Chicken Oregano with Sweet peppers. Ingredients. 1.5 lbs. chicken pieces, skin removed 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper cooking spray 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 lemon, sliced 1 tomato, chopped 1/4 cup onion, chopped 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped 1 tablespoon fresh (or one teaspoon dried) oregano 1/4 cup white grape juice 3/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth 1 medium, sweet green pepper, cut into strips 1 medium, sweet red pepper, cut into strips Directions. 1. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. 2. Lightly coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray. 3. Cook chicken over medium heat until light brown (about 15 minutes), turning once. Reduce heat. 4. Sprinkle garlic, lemon, half of tomato, onion, parsley and oregano over chicken pieces in skillet. 5. Add grape juice and broth. 6. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. 7. Add remaining tomato and sweet peppers, cover and continue to simmer for 7-10 minutes or until chicken is tender and cooked through. I served this on a bed of brown Rice. The kids ate every last scrap of it, and even my partner asked for more.

Have to ever tried steamed chicken? I put in the steamer with veggies. Does be lovely and healthy too. Or stir fry, you can do different stir frys. Cut the chicken into strips, cut up a few peppers and onions etc and through in a sauce. And you've got a dish all on its own. Or chicken cassorole, everything in one pot in the oven. Saves on cleaning up too, lol

This is one of the common ways we, Filipinos cook chicken.. Chicken Tinola Saute ginger, garlic and onions in a pot until golden brown.. Then add your chicken pieces.. Stir.. Add 1 tablespoon of fish sauce (In Filipino, we call it patis).. Stir for a few minutes, then add 4-5 cups of water.. Bring them to a boil.. Then add salt and ground black pepper to taste.. (Here in the Philippines, we also add vetsin..).. Add sliced unripe papaya.. Boil some more.. Then add pepper leaves.. If you wish to be more accurate with the measurements of the ingredients, you can just look for the recipe of Chicken Tinola in the internet.. Good Luck..

Hi there, I have a very simple recipe to cook the chicken. The best part is when you have it with some rice. You will love it! 1. Dice some garlic, onion, chilies, and a little bit ginger 2. Get some lemon grass (but not too many : 2 lemon grass is enough) 3. 1 spoon of turmeric powder,a bit MSG and salt 4. chicken (half) Get a small spoon of oil. Put all the garlic, onion, chilies and ginger. Mix all them around and let them to be "sauté". Let the chicken in, mix all them well. Add the turmeric powder and the lemon grass. Add some water in it and add the salt in. You should let the chicken cook well (wait till they are boiled) Then it is ready to serve!

Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken) INGREDIENTS 1 tablespoon peanut oil 1 shallot, finely chopped 1/4 white onion, chopped 2 tablespoons butter 2 teaspoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon garam masala 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 bay leaf 1/4 cup plain yogurt 1 cup half-and-half 1 cup tomato puree 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste 1 pinch salt 1 pinch black pepper 1 tablespoon peanut oil 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces 1 teaspoon garam masala 1 pinch cayenne pepper 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1/4 cup water DIRECTIONS Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Saute shallot and onion until soft and translucent. Stir in butter, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, 1 teaspoon garam masala, chili powder, cumin and bay leaf. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add tomato sauce, and cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in half-and-half and yogurt. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Season with salt pepper. Remove from heat and set aside. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Reduce heat, and season with 1 teaspoon garam masala and cayenne. Stir in a few spoonfuls of sauce, and simmer until liquid has reduced, and chicken is no longer pink. Stir cooked chicken into sauce. Mix together cornstarch and water, then stir into the sauce. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes, or until thickened.

Have you tried chicken and dumplings? Also, try the Campbells soup website, they have some delicious alternatives to cooking chicken, that helps mask the taste of drab chicken sometimes. Also try marinating to give different flavors and mix it up a little. I too eat alot of chicken and have gone through the typical menu and need to branch out. LOL, also try italian style cooking. Food Network has a great website just type in chicken recipes and see what comes up. Take care and good luck in livening up dinner! LOL
