Ah, yes. Memories. What was your first job? How old were you? How much did you make? Did you like it? My first job was at AMC Theatres and I was 18 years old. I started in 1995. I started at mimimum wage which was $4.25 back then. It was fun, fun perks like free moves. I met many people there, including my husband. : )

I joined the Marine Corps in 1994 when I was 17. My mom had to sign for me because I was underage. I only made about $800 a month back then. When I left the Marines in early 2001 I was making about $1500 a paycheck as an E-5 before taxes. I met my husband at my first job as well! :D

I grew up in a small town and had a hard time getting a job while I was in High School but I tried. When I was 15 I spent the summer looking after two children five days a week but they were aweful children and hard to manage. The next summer I washed dishes in a restaurant and cleared off tables for the waitresses. When I was 17 and 18 I spent both of those summers as a camp counsellor at a Christian camp and recieved an honourarium of $80 a week plus food. When I was 19 I cleaned motel rooms and washed dishes for the adjoining restaurant. Then I spent two years at college unable to find work until my third year when I worked as a cashier at a grocery store. I must say that that was an enjoyable job! I worked there until after my college graduation and then stayed there until I got an offer t owork in my field of choice. (Educational Assistant) However cut backs and having my child cost me my job where I made 16.30 an hour now I am a cashier at a grocery store once again where I make $8.25 an hour and am not treated very well either... Currently wishing there was something I could do to make money from home and be with my special needs son more! I met my Husband at church :)
