is html is better for web designing

you don't think so? what do you think so? last time I've checked HTML was the ONLY way to make a webpage... I think it's possible to make a website entirely on flash and linking directly to it, but all sites like this I've seen have an HTML document acting as container, even if they don't really need it.

HTML is the basis for web design. Without HTML, there would be no website in the first place, so it's not a matter of whether you think it is good alone or not.

yaa i agree with you ,you have to use many other languages with this like java script or vb script and for the styling you have to use is cascading style sheet which is used for the text formatting styling the page.even you can create good web page without using any other things . but it is not hady to handle text formatting in all page sseperatly .there fore you hav to use css along with pure html for designing web page.

well,i don't know much about web design,but i like learn about web design,do u think there is any other program language that i can learn more easy to understand web design...

for making a website or webpage, yes, HTML is essential because it is the most basic form. but for web design, you'll need more than HTML. you'll need CSS, Javascript, flash, etc. c",)
