Unique Pen Obsession

I have a strange obsession over pens. I have over 50 in my home, and I can't wait to get more of them. Is there something wrong with me? I usually feel victorious when I either purchase a pen or finish one off. I can reach a rate of 1 pen used per day. Do any of you have an obsession like this? Is there something wrong with me? Should I go to a psychologist?

I think that I have you beat. I think I have over 100 pens. Many of them I got when I worked at my old job, but I've always collected pens since I was a teenager. I've even had so many that I'm thinking about selling some of them on Ebay, just to get rid of them. I think the pens that write the smoothest and best are the ones that come from the pharmacuetical companies, the kind that they give to doctors to promote their medications. I've got a whole bunch of those! I don't think you need a psychologist!

Smooth pens are the best. I love using parker inks but they are so expensive. Sometimes I'll use a Jetstream one since its cheaper to get.

LOL I too suffer from this ailment!! I have school boxes full of them. I have three at the lodge, one at home, plus lots more laying around here. I have 3 in my coat, about 5 in my purse. I never have a pen handy when I need one though!

I keep mine organized in "pen pets" by Lisa Frank and in a container that is easily accessible by everyone in my home. The only time someone can't get a pen here is if they forget where the stash of pens are.

There is nothing wrong with it as long as it is fine with you.Sometimes a hobby may look strange and unbelivable for others to understand. It happens but each is different in personality and character,it is the same with the hobby.Just keep it a habit.
