This is what i always see on some bookstores or internet. Some people always put advertising for their seminars about guiding you to be rich ,the ywill charge you like 100 bucks for the seminars, some other people may have written books on sharing their experience on how they become rich. What do you think?? Do you think they are rich people? Or they are just scams which cheat people money? If they are rich ,why they need to share their ways to success but charging people money on semiars or buying their books.? Have you or your friend ever attend these seminars or bought these books?? What is your conclusion?? Any comments are welcomed..thank you.

Of course they are rich, they are getting all the registration money and money from the sale of their books. That's how they make all their money, by charging others for some useless information. I used to work at an answering service and we actually answered calls for something like this.. they didn't even have a staff !! We took names & addresses and they sent in the amount we told them to a PO Box. I felt horrible when I found out it was a scam. Fortunately, the service dropped their business.

we used to answer phones for people that had gone home for the evening etc and paid a fee for our message service. We would page doctors if emergencies arose, etc. I now work as a 911 dispatcher.

I paid $50 a couple of years ago for info on starting an internet business. It included a lot of addresses to do surveys online. The paying surveys don't pay in S.Africa. (I don't about other countries). Everything else was just nonesense. An absolute waste of money. Although I can only comment on the one I bought. I am sure some of them are ok. Best of luck to you!

I think I know which ones you are talking about, some are ok,some are scams, in fact ,the information you get is the url addresses for the survey sites, you can also search those information by yourself, i can say that you pay the money for acesss of some informatio only.. Also, most survey companies accpet residents from US mainly,or UK, AU,CA,but seldom the rest of the world.

There are lots of offers on the internet offering to supply a list of Surveys which will pay you in cash and/or prizes. They all will give you a list. But for a Fee. Don't pay for any list. It would probably contain only a few sites, anyway. . You do not have to pay one penny to take surveys. I do surveys almost everyday. And, as you say, they are mostly for CA,USA,UK. But there are a few others.Go online and find them. I know of a LINK to a site that has a long list of Survey companies.I don't know if I'm allowed to post it here-so I am leaving it out. If you think I can post it please tell me.

I think that you're allowed to post it. Since it's relevant to the discussion. I would also want to find out what that site is? And how much work does it require? Money is soooo hard to come by these days.

I agree if they are so rich, why are they trying to sell me something like this. If it is for real, then they would be telling no one unless it was close family or friends. I doubt they would want to share it with the world!!

I have attended some and I have noticed that most of them are about business stuff and selling, and I'm not good in these things, so I don't attend seminars like these anymore. I have heard from my friends who like attending these things that most of them are scams. Well, perhaps there are some legit ones but as I've said, I'm not sold into their core idea. I now come to wonder, if the founder of let's say, the business, is rich, then how come he/she would still charge people to buy the material or to attend the seminar? Why not just volunteer help to those who don't have the means, and would also like to chase their dreams? This makes the business dubious then. Why not help one, and then if that person succeeds in doing so, would have to be asked for a fee? Well, just my thought, as I'm not really into these things. Happy myLotting!

YEAh ,That is what i think exactly, if they really want to share their sucessful stories, they can offer it for free. Imagine how the real millonaires are liek in your country, you will know those seminars are scams, but I have to admit those guys/ girls who do the seminars are really charming ,they are so well spoken and can draw the attention of the audience really well.

I think those people are are probably rich now, by scamming others with their with their faulty seminars that is. I don't see why anyone who's a millionaire would openly share their secrets to other people. From what I've learned, these seminars only contain vague information and self-change tips...instead of actual help on making money. Unfortunately, there's always someone who falls for these scams. I'm sure there are seminars that people can benefit from; however, it seems doubtful as of now.

Yes most of these people are rich. Apart from anything else they get rich off the 100 bucks from each person attending their seminars!! I've attended a few seminars like these and I've read a pile of books about it - some I've gained from and some I haven't. As someone who makes their living from Internet Marketing I'm familiar with a lot of the online programs and schemes etc. In fairness not all of them are scams. A lot of the time people are looking for "get rich quick" schemes - they don't want to actually have to work for the money. They just want to sit back and wait for the money to come rolling in. Then when it doesn't they think they've been scammed. In fact the program that got me started in Internet Marketing (and I made quite a lot of money from it eventually) is one that I regularly see people online calling a scam. It isn't if you're prepared to make an effort and do some work but as I say some people aren't prepared to make that effort.

No I have never attended any seminars out of choice, had enough of them from my job. I also think that why do they have all these informmercials and books selling books or tapes on how to... if they are millionaires.

They are scams. If there was a "quick way" to get a million dollars, everyone would have a million dollars. Believe me, if any of that stuff worked, don't you think everyone would be rich? I get so sick of hearing about those things...I'm kind of interested in buying a book, not to try to get rich but just to see the foolish things they put in it.

They made all there money by taking it off other people and selling them some rubbish system or book. As long as there are people who will fall for these things these people will keep getting richer and richer. The internet is ideal for people like this you see millions of these schemes.

I regularly recieve invitations for such seminars both online and off line, but never attented one. I believe all these are scams. May be there are some genuine programmes, but how to identify them from the scams. So I totally neglect them. I take advice from both in and outside of myLot to choose my earning programmes. Thank you easy.

It is a scam that is for sure. The only way to get rich with that type of scheme is to take others money and tell them how to do it as well !!!!!! I have attended a seminar where i didn't buy into the scheme and they actually got mad at me for not getting into it. I asked them if it was so easy why isn't everyone involved ???? They could not come up with a good answer. It is Buyer beware

So how can you get out of it finally?? Do you tell them you are not interested in those 'scams' programs?? Are there many people attending the seminars ?? Are they skeptical about it?

SOme books I read about making money online have truth in what they say. The only problem with people buying the books is that even they applied the theory in the book they don't get the exact thing because one thing is lacking, they don't work smart just too hard.

For me this "know how" is just the usual catch for naive people. And Internet offers the possibility to cheat very large number of people. Because you dont know what do you buy in fact and how it fits personally to your situation. You see some pics of smiling people who you dont know / heh, may be they are just the closed friends of the seller of the book/ , you read some optimist words and that`s enough to be convinced? I dont think so.

I think that if they are rich i's from selling their books, not doing what they write about in their books. Most of these things seem like scams to me. My mother talked me into going to this stupid seminar one time and I couldn't believe how stupid people were. The guys speaking at the seminar were basically getting people excited and then saying at key point, "but to do this you absolutely have to have ____________" and then people would get up and just pay this huge price for a cd that had a website on it. That's it. They could have built the website on their own and, if they had been looking around, they would have realized that 500 other people were buying the same disk, meaning that site would be worthless as soon as 10 of them uploaded it and it had been seen. You are better off pushing your own ideas with your own site or writing your own little ebook and selling it yourself! Your ideas and techniques are just as good as anyone else's if you take the time to develop them.

I think the actual get rich scheme is in the selling of the books and hving seminars etc. "suckering" people into buying your "program" I have not been tempted to try any of these self promoting products.
