beginning of new era......

Well i wish to watch the sequel, its a great movie!!

yes, very true. 300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says : SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!. the greatest sequence when the king as a young lad fights the beast and also , when he kicks the intruder into the well..

i ahve not watche dthe film but I am very curious to know what is the fuss all about . whats the story line of the film ?How is it different from any other movie ? what makes you thnk there should be more films like it ? What kind of traditions does it break ? In what way is it similar to films that already exist / In what is it mediocre ? In what way it is excellent and surpases all films that have been made to this day ? Someone please throw some light .

though the movie surpasses the limits to brutality .... it does show a new turn in the cinema history ... 300 is a initiative to this era

What new era?? There should be plenty of other movies directed in the same style to judge. It's only one movie
