How to run a good family if you are asked to be a family head?

Hi everybody! I don't know how to run the affairs of a family.It seems very difficult to manage all the matters. I frankly admit that I cannot affoard if lest asked to be a head. I appreciate my parents who well managed all the affairs upto the moment. How do you people think? If somebody is doing how and what difficulties he/she faced?

If Im the family head i want to run it smoothly....what i mean is, I don't want to be strict to my family...I want them to treat me just their friend,so they will not be affraid of me...And i also want to support each of them from their dreams.
