My mom until now always think that I don't afford to buy new clothes if I used my torn clothes at home (t-shirt usually) and that reason made me laugh sometimes. She worry about me, and I explained that I really enjoy using bad clothes at home, because sometimes the clothes are more comfortable in skin and also my hubby better wear torn clothes when he must do house work and he usually get really wet with sweat. Do you also wearing torn clothes at home or when you sleep ? Because I do, and I'm not feel shame at all with that, because I never use it if I have to meet people.

I do have clothes which I just use for lounging around in, doing housework in and for relaxing in, like jeans and t-shirt, to be honest if they get holes in them I use them for dishrags or for dusters, t-shirts make good dusters and floor cloths. I don't like holes in my clothes and the worst for me is having a hole in my sock, I banish both pairs to the bin straight away.

LOL... It's quite funny that you opened this up... My sisters tease me all the time because all my home clothes are torn... Like I'm not wearing anything at all because almost everything can already be seen... Hahaha... I think torn old clothes are a lot more comfortable.. However, when I go outside, I change clothes - of course, I dont want other people to see me wear those... LOL

I usually only wear torn or stain clothes when I am doing yard work. Or sometimes I will wear torn/ stain clothing for when I am painting. Otherwise I just wear my normal everyday clothing.

Yes, I have torn and really old clothes that I still wear around the house. I find that they are very comfortable and I don't like to get rid of them!

my clothes at home arent 'torn'. but they are of lesser quality then what i wear to go out because no one can see what i am wearing at home. my grandparents like to use torn clothes for rags to wipe the floor.

I don't like getting rid of things that are comfortable, so I'll often wear clothes long after they don't really look good anymore. Maybe they have a little hole somewhere, or they have a stain that just wouldn't come out, but if they're still comfortable of course I'll wear them around the house. Unless I'm having company or something, I don't really worry about what I look like at home. I have kind of a similar story with my grandmother: my husband and I don't own a bed. We sleep on a very comfortable mattress on the floor. And every single time she calls me, she asks if we're still sleeping on the floor. For her it's a sign that we're struggling financially, and it makes her worry for us and our son. But... the whole reason we still haven't got a bed is because it is safer for me to sleep on the floor! It's easier for me to get up and down from while having vertigo if I'm on the floor, because then if I fall I'll just fall back on the mattress!

I do use old clothes, but not the real torn ones. My mom usually put our torn clothes on a basket which we can just grab if we need some rags. But the old clothes we have which are still in good condition, we keep them and use them in the house, some as pajamas. :P

I wouldn't say I enjoy wearing torn clothes. In fact, I normally dump them or convert them to rags when they get torn. But if you are talking about *old* clothes, then yes, I like using them for pajamas.. because they are so comfortable! ;-)

Yes, I do enjoy wearing this torn or old clothes especially at night. They are thin and also comfortable to wear. Unlike new ones, they are a bit thick and not so comfortable to sleep with. With regards to working or reparing something at home, these clothes are suitable because you don't have to worry about them gettig stained or dirty. I guess this is not shameful and embarassing. As long as you enjoy what you do and you don't hurt others, just go on with it. Don't think about what others will say. Goodluck!

I only wear torn clothes at home especially when I sleep because it's airy and feel comfortable. When my mom sees it, she'll ask when I'm gonna throw the clothes away!! :) After that, she'll sew them for me.

it depends on how torn it is.. if it torn in a way that it looks like garbage, then ill use as a rag or something.. but if its torn in an artistic way, id even add color (splash effect) to it so i could wear it...

Well I have this favorite t shirt that I love wearing and even its really torn I still enjoy wearing it. The problem is that I dont want it to be repaired, my mother attempted to repair it but to no avail. There are really t shirts that are really my favorite that you can absolutely say that its really overused. LOLZ!
