I have a Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical USB and PS/2 Compatible mouse. i can plug it in to the ps/2 port or the usb port. right now it is plugged into one of the two usb ports that i have for my computer. i also overclocked my mouse's sampling rate to 250hz for a delay time of 4ms. i could get it to 500hz but it uses a lot of cpu resources so i keep it at 250hz. the reason i overclocked in the first place was to get a faster response time when playing counter-strike. what mouse do you have? have you tried overclocking it? do you think that choosing one mouse over another makes a difference?

I have a HAMA optical mouse, it connects via USB. It lights up blue. Yes, a good mouse makes a difference especially if you are a webgamer. Most important thing is that it fits good into your hand. My mouse is a lot smaller than the old mechanical one that had a ball system that I had before.

Well I also have a Microsoft USB optic mouse. I definitely prefer optic mouses over the traditional mouses with the ball on the bottom. I think all the USB mouses are more convienent because you can carry them off to other computers and use them, so I'd recommend an optic mouse to anyone. Plus Microsoft mouses are an awesome brand of mice :P
