It was one of the strangest things that I have ver expereinced 10 years ago, I recieved an empty card without anything written on it. It was a three fold colorful card, with a cute guy standing saying : may your birthday be filled with a hundred shades of happy". It was a card that brought joy and caused confusion on my part and it was not yet solved until now, since I still didnt know who sent the card. I hope I could solve the mystery, but I guess its impossible. I just wonder why the card was sent without any information about the sender. Have you recieved a card but didnt know who gave it? Hope we can share. have a nice day. happy mylotting!

That is strange, how can someone send you a card and not put anything in it or write anything on it?

Yes, it was really very strange, but what I can do is wonder why and never have answers.

It used to be a tradition to give unsigned cards on Valentine's Day, but not on birthdays.

Well, may be, since my birthdya happens to be the day after valentine's day, so it may be part of the tradition.

I have, but not by mail...that would be so odd! Usually when I have a birthday party, there's always a few people that forget to sign their cards, so I have a card that's wishing me all sorts of happiness on my birthday along with their gifts, but no idea who it was sent from. I can usually track it down though - I make a list of everyone that attended, and I check off the ones whose gift I found. Then I call the ones who are left over and ask if they by any chance gave me an unaddressed gift! Usually works. Lol. So in 10 years you haven't found who sent it? The curiosity would be killing me! Haha. :)

Hi Zelmarq! I received cards and letters before that were unsigned and it did give me a kind of joy, excitement and confusion all at the same time...wondering who was my mystery sender. I kept on guessing and guessing and did my own investigation and questioning from people who I think might help me find clues or any informations that would lead to the sender but to no avail. And just like you, I never knew who it was...and I never bothered to find out anymore because that was a long, long time ago. I guess I have accepted the fact he will remain anonymous because he chose to reamin that way for the rest of my life. But of course, wouldn't it be nice to know the true identity of our mystery sender? Have a nice day and take care.

They likely forgot to sign it! But of course, if you at the time, asked everyone you know.. and no one sent it.. well, then that is a true mystery.. and perhaps an secret admirer too shy to sign the card!

This has never happened to me before but I am thinking maybe a child sent it to you or maybe your doctor or other specialist may have sent it to you. If it had been someone close to you, I am sure they would have signed it and put some kind of written message to you in it. Maybe someone just forgot to sign it.

Do you know anyone with the name ziggy, because that's the name of the cute little guy? He shows up in newspaper cartoons here! Now, if it really puzzles you, and you really must know, get the card dusted for fingerprints! lol! Take care Zelmarq.

Maybe there's somebody who really cares a lot you know...or maybe somebody who just don't want his or her identity to be noticed that's why that person sent you that card without his/her name on it. I actually never experienced receiving one friend but if ever one day it'll happen on me, I will definitely feel the same way that you do right now. Godbless and more power . ;)

Definitely it came from somebody who liked you and pretty sure he had common interests to you. Oh my dear friend, I never received any mysterious card so far, but always shopping brochures in my letter box which I don't request...always with these lovely words "hey!hey!hey!...cheap sale for this month..bla..bla..bla.. I thought it want to give money...but it want to take my money...aha..aha..aha..

no, i haven't encountered that yet. i guess the one who sent you that birthday card doesn't want to be konwn. hehe. a secret admirer perhaps? or maybe because he forgot to write his/her name on it. that simple. but don't worry about it. the important thing is somebody remembered your birthday. i guess you just have to thank whoever he/she is. hehe.=)

That is funny. I think you had an admirer that time and he does not want to let you know who he is. He just want you to receive it and later give you again. But since up to now you do not know who that person was maybe he was afraid to show himself. Well, maybe one day he can tell you who he is.

No I've never experienced any "mystery" cards in my life, but I think that was wonderful that you got such a card..who knows? Maybe it was a secret admirer who was too shy to write anything in it, but still wanted to wish you happiness on your birthday

At our wedding we got a handmade crocheted afaghan. Very nice gift. The card was blank inside. I asked around on both sides of the family. To this day I have no idea who went to all that work and I feel bad that we were not able to thank them properly. I guess it will just be a mystery.

That has not happened to me, but could it have been from an elderly relative? I know my Father-in-law is getting pretty old and on Fathers day, he sends out Father day cards to both his sons. Last Fathers Day, my husband got his brothers, so I guess his brother got my husbands card..
