I lost count. I cant really exactly remember but one things for sure it was months ago, i cant figure out how many months but its surely months ago. I was reminded with the advertisement last night from the tv about have healthy heart and its through eating outmeal whish serves as the sweeper nd cleans our heart. SO today im eating oatmeal for breakfast. I miss the feeling and I love to eat it and I wonder why it took me this long to realize that i should eat foods to help my body with the daily life stressors. How about you mylotters, when was the last time you ate oatmeal?

It's been a couple of months but then I'm really not very fond of the stuff. Though a friend of mine tells me that I should try real Scots oats with real cream. Hard to find here in the US though.

I had some of those flavored oatmeal packets, such as Peaches and Cream, about two weeks ago. It's great versus eating cereal on a cold winter morning.

I ate it a couple of days ago. I would have eaten it today and yesterday, but I had two appointments in the morning, so I just mixed the rolled oats in the yogurt, added berries, nuts, and flaxseed and was on my way. I love rolled oats and oatmeal, I also love oatmeal cookies, the old fashioned kind with the butter or lard, flour, water, and baking soda. They are also known as oatcakes.

Yeah Zelmarq, as what I learn from the articles, oatmeal is a nutritious food which is very good to our health. If we take certain amount of it daily is believed could lower the cholesterol of our body. I would like to take oatmeal as my breakfast every Sunday. I prefer to stir it with some milo and creamer as well to make it more delicious. So I’m very sure the last time I took it was three days back. posting and take care.

HI Zelmarq... The last time I ate oatmeal was just a couple of days ago. I like eating that especially in the morning or if I don't really feel like eating. I would usually put fresh banana on top. I know a lot of people don't like oatmeal with fresh fruits but I do.

If you start babies on healthy foods when they are young, they do not know that they should want something else. My granddaughter eats oatmeal with her mom.

I ate it this morning, as I do every morning. Having had a heart attack two years ago, it is very good for cholesterol and that. I can't say I like it -it's quite bland to taste, but I feel much better for doing it.

Other than in the form of oatmeal cookies, I don't recall the last time I ate hot oatmeal cereal. It could easily be over a decade ago. Yikes! I have 3 sons who eat hot oatmeal on a regular basis. One of the boys eats it EVERY morning for breakfast. His favourite flavours are maple and brown sugar as well as apple and cinnamon. The instructions on the packets say to add water, but I nuke them with milk. I figure it packs it with more flavour and nutrients for the boys that way.

When the weather is cooler I eat oatmeal every morning. I eat it because I love it and it also helps cholesterol. So does Cheerios which is just cold oats! LOL In the summer I eat Cheerios every morning but as soon as the weather is cool enough I switch back to oats. It seems to me that they are too heavy to eat in the summer. The only flavored oatmeal that I like is Apple/Cinnamon, other than that I go for the plain ones.

That's funny. I only liked one flavor of oatmeal when growing up. My sister liked the same flavor as you and I liked the maple & brown sugar. Nowadays I like cinnamon spice as well. I never could get into the apple/cinnamon flavor. I don't like the little dried apple pieces. LOL

Oatmeal, that is porridge right? We eat porridge in the winter months but it's stinking hot here now and we aren't even into summer. It's great with brown sugar and milk, not sure how good it is for us but it tastes ok :)

Just this morning I ate it for breakfast with my family, we all enjoy the healthy and delicious tate of oatmeal every breakfast. Here in my country, rice is the first food that we buy most of the time, but I was different, I used to Buy first oatmeal rather than rice, Cause cereals are more healthy than grains.

i have it everyday eversince doc told me i have problems relating to cholestrol, high blood pressure, high uric acid levels in body, and liver probs. he said move to a good meal that can take care of my body needs early in the morning and suggested oatmeal. i like it bland without anything added to it. no flavor, no milk. just water and heat it. i see lot of changes which otherwise could have resulted in using unnecessary medicines.

Several months ago. I always tell mom that its healthy but the concern is money. We import oats and that means an extra price charge(tariff, distribution, profit and more).
