I just finished book #15 for the Amazon Good Reads challenge.
This book was a sequel I hadn't known existed to a book I read as an elementary schooler--several times. I really enjoyed the first book. When I was a kid and read a book I really enjoyed, I was sad to finish it. I felt a little bit of sadness when I finished this one.
I'm an adult now, and this book was a little different, so for those reasons it may not have been quite as enjoyable as the first, but it was like seeing "old friends" again.
Now on to book #16...

@xstitcher It's dissappointing, but then you have invested in time to read 1/4 or 1/2 and I always manage to talk myself into finishing the book most of the time.

When I reread a book, it is exactly like visiting old friends.
(Don't want to discourage you, but I've read 73 books so far this year.)

No worries. Everyone reads at different paces.

The first is called "Gone-Away Lake". The second is called "Return to Gone-Away."
