How Was Your Weekend?

As the weekend winds down, I must say that mine was a bit annoying. Friday evening I was going to work on Flea Market stuff and get things ready to go into the booth on Saturday. I wanted to go early and get that task over with. However, my inventory book--where I write everything down that goes in the booth came up missing. And it is still missing. I have looked everywhere in the den where I use it, in my bedroom, and in my car. No book. So today I started another book, so I could get this stuff listed and on to the flea market. I decided to go Sunday afternoon after helping the hubby out with something he needed a little help with. (More on that later!) The other thing I lost this weekend was a pair of earrings that came in the mail broken. It was an enamel pair of earrings in the shape of crawfish. Since it is crawfish season here, I thought I would put these in the flea market and see if they were a hit or not. I had just looked up the invoice and was going to request a refund but then when I went to take a photo of the broken earrings, I couldn't find them. I looked everywhere and no go. This evening I looked to my right and there they were on the side table by my chair. Duh! I swear they were not there last night!! Now today I told hubby I would help him get ready to take a piece of equipment to Jackson, LA that is still under warranty but not running right. He is going to have to pick this up with the forks on the tractor to load it in the back of his truck. But the boat he bought earlier this year is in the way and needed moving before he could back the truck up. He planned to hook the boat on to back of the tractor and pull it out. Nope, the trailer hub there is frozen up and not releasing the piece that should pop back in order for the ball on the tractor to hook on to pull it out. So he sprayed it down to lubricate it several times and that didn't help. He got a wrench out and whacked it a few times and that didn't work either. I told him to go inside and order a new one and we will go next week instead of tomorrow. He finally gave up and did that. Men are so stubborn. So it has been a whacky weekend here and it feels like I have been spinning wheels with not getting very much done. How was your weekend? Did you have a whacky one or a productive one or a FUN one?
