How to comfort somebody whose having a BAD DAY?

Can you tell me how to cheer up someone whose having a bad day? I can't make her smile, even i asked her to look at her face in the mirror that could probably make herself smile or even laugh! lol Now guys any idea to comfort her...

afishen I don't feel so bad when I know someone else is having a worse time. And it I get the time to do something with them it generally gets better.
