I am trying to potty train my three year old son...I have been actively trying for about 5 months now...he will go for other people and when we go to other's houses and he will go when he first wakes up but I can forget about it...

John I would try setting the kitchen timer for every hour or when he is most likely to need to go,and tell him,when it goes off,he has to at least try to go,I would stay with the cotton underpants and start putting plastic pants on over them,and let him know,that...

John There are many causes of this and just as many methods of training,I would suggest you try "potty training" on Ivillage.com,there is a lot of help there. we would need to know what you are doing to train,and what he is wearing,both at homw and when going...
