what do you do if your parents do not like your gril friend / boy friend?

I use to have a boyfriend ,but he's mother do not like me for some reason. This is sad,and I agree that we need parents' bless,if no ,maybe we will be more hard in the future. We say goodbye at last. what's your opinion for this...
