mstay4 I have NEVER heard this before. My oldest wore disposables until he was potty trained at 14 months and my daughter wears them now, she is 2 months. Neither of them have or have had any problems with their hips. I think this is just a way to scare parents into...

happythoughts Both of my kids wore disposable diapers 80% of the time and they are okay. I think if the diapers were hurting kids they would have pulled them off the shelves a long time ago. I dont think they would make a diaper that would hurt babies.

leese29 I have never heard that one before. Both my children wore diapers all day (With the exception in summertime and I let them run free a little bit)until they were potty trained (2 years old) They have never had any problems.

caesarin well, I do think so but thanks. I'm new in motherhood and many people say this and that which often make me worries about unnecessary things. But precautions is needed anyway.

Akeela Well i know some old folks who never wear disposable diaper and have hip problem, it have to do with genetics, diet, bone structure, and care for the body and accidents. Doubt it!

all4ucnc You'll find that when your a new parent, everyone around you become experts on the subject, and you'll hear alot stuff just like you probably did when you were pregnant. But relax you'll get your own groove and your next one will be alot easier.

all4ucnc Both of my kids wore nothing but disposables and they are fine. I think the whole hip thing is just something some enviromentalist came up with to keep people from buying them. Disposable diapers are no tighter around the hips than cloth diapers.

mememama I've never heard of that, my son wears cloth diapers which are bigger or bulkier than disposables and he hasn't had any problems. There are health problems with disposable diapers-check out www.realdiaperassociation.com

msmonkeyfeet This is the first time I've heard this rumor! My son wears nothing but disposable diapers and he's just fine. I think that if there were any real issues with disposable diapers your doctor would have said something to you (or me) and they wouldn't sell them....

XxAngelxX My three children always wore disposable diapers. I have never heard of this before. They are 12, 8 and 7 now and none of them have any problems with their hip structure. Also I was always in disposable diapers as well and there are no problems with my hips...

hcromer I'm at work right now. In fact, the only time I even get on myLot is when I am at work. My workplace is pretty lenient and I am a manager so I can pretty much do it if I want to. It doesn't weigh on my conscience at all.
