Is University of the Philippines still the best university in the Philippines?

For me I don't think so. Because a lot of other universities emerges on top of it right now. And some students do not deserve to be in this school (UP). Sorry for my opinion but it is suppose to be a school for poor but deserving...

bienalday yeah ur definitely exact on your figures! i can say that U.P. is truly not making at its best in producing globally competitive students to our nation.... but of course there are several factors behind this... UP has a standardized financial program or STFAP...

bienalday really? i do not know that. thanks for the information anyway...and yeah you are right living in your domicile or your own island will make you more safe and comfortable knowing that it is your community with lots of friends and neighbors around your home.
