Do u think that Java is a better technology then VB.Net

Acc to my opinion Java is the better technology as it has larger no of applications than VB.Net. its true that VB.Net is easy to learn but its features are not as good as of Java Tecvhnology.......

java is a technology which has a large no of applications started from handheld devices like mobile,PDAs etc. to large technologies like online websites,robots etc.so its a most widely used tecnology now a days.
