do current generations' old age people get enough respect and love they deserve?

do you think in today's hi-fi gen y world, old age people actually get the amount of love and respect they actually deserve? or is it like they're thought of being useless and thrown away? what's your opinion.

binnythevarghese sorry to hear about you grand parents but good to hear that u are one of them who loves her mother, even i do..:-) and yes i think your mom had done a lot and still coping cheers for ur mom!!!
