Does talking to your kids about alchohol and drugs really work? because most people do not like being told they can't do something, they like to figure things out. so is it pointless to talk to them about it?

Does talking to your kids about alchohol and drugs really work? because most people do not like being told they can't do something, they like to figure things out. so is it pointless to talk to them about it?

brr912 I don't actually have kids, I'm in college right now and everyone around me parties alot and I go to a pretty conservative school when it comes to things like that. and so its alittle confusing
