How many teeth does your one year old have?

I was just wondering,because our one year old girl has 2 teeth and her 10-month old friend has already 8=)...

catatac My 14 month old boy has 12 teeth now. Is this too much, most kids we see have less? I know everyone says they all come out in different stages, but can one have too much too soon?
