eM In my case, it matters. My family is very much devoted to our religion and I don't want to deviate myself from them because I'm also very happy and contented with my religion.

markroderick Yes, it really matters in every relationship that you both share the same belief or faith. It makes your relationship more stronger. but sometimes it also depends on both partners but it is always one of the main factors why relationships last.

TheRealDawn Well first of all I'd be really surprised because I don't have a teenage daughter. But seriously, I'd give her a big hug and tell her that I love her and support her. And then I'd have a serious talk with her about her option.

sbbarua08 If I had to hear that type of news when my daughter was teenage, I would have probably gone mad! Thanks God that she is married off without making this type of occurrence! This is of course a nightmarish experience for any parent, I think.
