atul_asv we should ask this question to our selection board of india. they are already confused about the selection. so politics in this section so so many good players will be ignored. so let it happen and see what selected players do. we cant do much about that. :(

pranaydharmale i think it was the right thing to do.. He 's basically a test player and even if he have performed well in some odi but still he can't be expected to be in WC squad when there are better options available.

mdchennai Yes it is a key issue along with the issue of Virender Sehwag. I think gambhir could have been selected rather than sehwag. The main reason could be that sehwag is a part time bowler whereas gambhir is not :)
