How Long is too long on Prednisone

I Have been On Prednisone for all most 8 months and it has cause many side efficts. The biggest one is the anger and weight gain. This is a great drug but it has many bad side effiects to it. How do you deal with the side effects...

ckoepf Thanks I have been good just have had some sets backs and still on the high dosg of the drug. I have trid to get off but no luck.
