Darkwing No... you've got me at it now. It wasn't the Priory Court Hotel. It was a few years ago, and it's changed slightly but I think this is the one... The Castle Inn. It's just down from the Castle, on the Eastbourne Road. It's lovely inside... like a real olde...

Darkwing Yes... that would be the weekend. It's the nearest to 30th April/1st May. They take Jack of the Green to the top of the Castle Hill. There are videos on YT... I'll look a link out for you. There are also Battle of Hastings Videos, which might interest...

Darkwing Yes, that's about the only time of the year we can guarantee any sort of decent weather in this country! lol. Majorca, huh? Well, have a great time... do attend a hog roast, and visit the caves. You're bound to have better weather there.... I think!...

Darkwing I guess that should be "avenging" the Normans. By the way, they hold a Pagan Festival in Hastings, each May Day weekend... the Green Festival, which celebrates Jack in the Green, on the Pagan Sabbat, Beltane... the start of summer.
