Is India safe enough to travel alone? Do you have any tips to travel safe and easy in India? Are there places you should avoid? Is it possible to travel around India using trains?

tarachand It depends on the the number of persons, amount of travel, the type of hotel that you want to live in, the city or town, the places where you eat. Assunming you are alone, I think there are fairly clean and good places for amounts as low as US$50/- a day...
