Should the guy propose or girl propose or dose it matter?

When two people are considering marriage who should propose the guy or girl, or dose it matter? well I guess it would be kind of sweet and romantic if the guy proposes, coming from a woman's prospective, so I think id prefer that...

dns100 I think it is better that the guy does. The girl could hint or ask questions about how the relationship is going/their future. Traditionally, it has been something the guy has done, so it is something I think the guy would want to do when he is feeling ready....
