macdingolinger You might also try blogging. There are many free services and the discipline to do it every day is really good. Plus when people read it and leave comments then that gives you even more real life practice at writing!

shiningstar1 I have a book about how to become a writer too and this book says to write first thing when you wake up. (Don't have to of course). You can also give yourself writing appointments to do later on in the day and just write anything that pops in your head....

krodrigues It was the worst book I think I've ever read. Not to say that I've completed it, but I went through about half of it. Not going to lie, I think about half of the time I was laughing.
