how do you train a new puppy?

I have a new puppy he is very difficult to train he is a doxie/minpin mix he is very small and yappy lol but i love him do anyone have any tips on how to train him? i am at wits end! my other dog was very easy to train she learned...

ericajane01 well i tried to teach my dog how to sit by using stuuffed animals because he just loves them. that worked and still does but sometime it doesnt when he dont want them lol. as far as chicken and beef omg they are his favorite and he would sit there for it but...
